Southlake, TX — The Carroll Independent School District (CISD) Board of Trustees has named Dr. Jeremy Glenn as the new Superintendent of Schools. With 24 years of experience in public education, including 17 years as a superintendent, Dr. Glenn will assume leadership following Dr. Lane Ledbetter's retirement.
Dr. Glenn has spent the past six years at the helm of Granbury ISD, where his leadership and dedication to student achievement have garnered him widespread respect and numerous accolades across Texas. His extensive career in education includes positions as a high school principal, assistant superintendent at Trinity ISD, and superintendent roles at Nacogdoches-Central Heights ISD and Waxahachie ISD. Renowned for his proactive leadership style and strong community engagement, Dr. Glenn has consistently worked to raise educational standards in every district he has served.
Holding a doctorate from Sam Houston State University, Dr. Glenn was honored as the 2018 Distinguished Educator of the Year by his alma mater. Under his guidance, the districts he has led have received significant awards, including recognitions from the Texas Education Agency and the Granbury Chamber of Commerce.
As Dr. Glenn and his family prepare for their move to Southlake, the community eagerly anticipates his leadership and vision for the district.
