Southlake Chamber of Commerce Hosts August Luncheon at VariSpace


Southlake, TX — On August 22nd, the Southlake Chamber of Commerce hosted its eagerly awaited monthly luncheon at the state-of-the-art VariSpace facility. The event, which saw a full house, provided an exceptional platform for local business leaders to connect, gain insights, and be inspired.


The highlight of the luncheon was an engaging presentation by Vari CEO Jason McCann. Known for his forward-thinking leadership, McCann shared the inspiring journey of Vari, focusing on the transformative impact of its innovative products, including the widely acclaimed sit/stand desk. His insights into the future of workplace design and leadership left the audience energized and motivated, underscoring the possibilities that lie ahead under his visionary guidance.


The luncheon commenced with welcoming remarks and guest introductions led by Chamber Chairperson Kush Rao. Incoming Chair Dr. Michelle Krenek and past Chair Karl Chester moderated the event, which was filled with a spirit of collaboration and enthusiasm, reflecting the Chamber’s dedication to fostering a thriving business community.


Recognition was also a key part of the event. Brandi Davis of Origin Bank was honored as Member of the Month, while Cecily Altshuler was celebrated as Ambassador of the Month. Both were applauded for their significant contributions to the Chamber and the broader community.


A special acknowledgment was given to John Fletcher, who not only sponsored the event but also shared his personal and professional journey, adding an inspirational touch to the gathering.
